Water’s Edge Pub

Restaurant, Oxford

The Water’s Edge pub and restaurant is a recently established pub restaurant situated in Stockport, Manchester. The pub offers comfortable country surroundings, great food and award winning lagers and craft ales.

In their spacious beer garden, the pub needed a sophisticated shading system implemented in replacement of umbrellas extend their profitable space and to ensure that their customers were comfortable when seated in the outdoor seating area. The awnings needed to be colourful, but still in-keeping with the overall exterior design of the pub.

Installed outside were three markilux syncra flex 2 frames with six markilux 990 cassette awnings. Freestanding, yet still extremely robust helping to shield customers from the elements, they are a great sturdy alternative to umbrellas. Extending their profitable space has meant being able to serve more covers inside and out.

Small and compact. Perfect to fit at wall or at ceiling. Minimizing size and weight due to u-shaped front profile that encompasses elegantly both folding arms and roller tube: the markilux 990 is an ideal friend for balcony and patio. Last, not least because of its many choices – markilux 990 offers operation via round steel-link chain or via bionic tendon elbow joints, a broad variety of fabrics, intelligent accessories for perfect convenience. Only the sun does not (yet) come as an additional extra.
