I need a tech guy

Stan is prompt, thorough, and patient! I am not adept at technology. He has helped me set up a new laptop and printer. As problems arise, he responds quickly, explains things simply, and never seems to get flustered.

3 Things You Need to Know About Your Tech Guy

Chris has worked in the computer industry since starting as a field tech and working his way up to premier tech support. During this time he began teaching and designing courseware for 3 different schools. He was teaching engineering classes by his 3rd year when he landed a job with a cutting edge accounting firm as an IT manager.

Follow Us. Every company also needs a knowledgeable consultant when developing a plan to upgrade their technology to avoid the aforementioned issues. Chris Picciotto is both of these people in one. Chris is technically adept and practical in the application of his expansive IT knowledge when it comes to rooting out and fixing problems. He is also always forward-thinking, developing creative solutions that help growing companies stay ahead of the technical curve.

Lastly and most importantly, he is responsive. Chris has an excellent ability to be there when you need him most. From small home-computer repair jobs to enterprise business IT rollouts, I highly recommend Chris Picciotto. I highly recommend Chris for anyone who wants a computer expert who will be there when you need him and able to address any problem, big or small. I feel very fortunate to have met him. He is always there when needed and very easy to work with.

I recommend Chris without hesitation. This is the perfect example of a company that is big enough to tackle any issue, but small enough to give you the personal attention that you want. No bait and switch tactics like I have experienced elsewhere, no bogus charges, no recommendations of work that doesn't need to be done to pad the bill. As a matter of fact, they have talked me OUT of doing things that I was considering, and showed me ways to get the same results by spending less!

Most of the times I dealt directly with the owner who obviously takes pride In his work and his reputation. He is very prompt and actually usually early for our meetings. He has gone out of his way to help me and make sure that I am always satisfied above and beyond what I expected. He has even called to follow up after a job to make sure all was still going smoothly!

This is definitely not a company based on "we have your money and now you are on your own". The professionalism, follow up and desire to make customers happy and fully satisfied is a very welcome breath of fresh air these days. I have used the services of the company many times over the years, and have referred their services to many close friends and family without hesitation. When he went past his time limit, he took it with him and brought it back the next day, fully functional and good for many years to come.

Thank you Tech Guy Chris! He was able to diagnose and address the issue, providing my wife with access once again to all her files which were still in the computer while performing a tuneup and providing a number of helpful hints on maintaining it and maximizing its remaining life. Based on this experience, Chris would be the first one we'd call if a home computer issue arise.

He worked on all three at the same time, got a lot done, explained to me what and why he was doing what he did all in under and hour. He was pleasant, clearly competent and understood what we needed. In addition, I contacted him on Sunday and he was in my house by Monday afternoon.

I will use him again for all my computer and networking needs. We discussed my computer challenges too numerous to list here and Chris got right to work.

He seemed to have a preset plan on what he was going to do, no doubt based on experience of what can get done in just an hour's worth of tech support. We talked about some possible solutions to my numerous computer issues while he went through his routine of cleaning up the start up routine and installing the antivirus software.

Despite having another appointment following mine, Chris did end up staying a couple minutes over the hour time which was nice. No bait and switch tactics like I have experienced elsewhere, no bogus charges, no recommendations of work that doesn't need to be done.

Chris made every effort to customize my software and files so it would be more user familiar more like the old system. He explained what he was doing in simple, easy to understand terminology. When Chris was finished, I felt much more confident moving forward with my new computer. I was impressed watching him setup the workstation. His attention to detail and depth of knowledge is impressive. He explained to me what he was doing, in terminology that I could understand as he set everything up.

NeedaTechGuy saved me thousands of dollars compared to prices I was getting from larger companies. He demonstrated infinite patience answering my questions and explaining how to use the new software.

Being a Senior Citizen and somewhat of a dinosaur in the tech arena, I need more TLC when it comes to computer operations. I would use Chris for future computer issues and I will recommend him to my friends. He helped us set-up a better wireless network through our home. I highly recommend him. He diagnosed our problem and did the software repair. Also cleaned up computer, checked for viruses and helped back up photos and documents so I won't be so panicked the next time.

He explained everything as he went so that even us computer-mpaired people could understand. Great experience. Kogan, CPA. Steven W. Tarta Esq. Tarta Law - Estate Planning and Probate.
